PRODUCT MANAGER

 

Responsibilities:

  • Translating project requirements into action plans
  • Implementation of guidelines provided by the EMEA Category Manager
  • Liaise with the cluster product line managers to deliver the different product specifications.
  • Prepare accordingly the product specification documents and input them in the Product Database
  • Follow up and support of new product projects
  • Actively monitor PNCs and threshold fulfillment /forecast follow-up and liaise with clusters for phase out to reduce complexity
  • Daily coordination and process improvements
  • Contribute to product cost-out related activities
  • Conduct continuous process improvements in liaison with product maintenance, quality, supply and purchasing departments and build recommendations accordingly towards the factory site.
  • Organize and facilitate regular meetings with Manufacturing site stakeholders for
  • Introduction and coordination of changes/ modifications/updates  according to  most recent products requirements

 

Experience & Competencies needed:          

  • Solid experience in Quality/Purchasing/R&D/Operations
  • Solid experience in production creation processes
  • Solid product knowledge
  • Team player, able to influence and work in a matrix organization
  • Good communicator, builds networks and can leverage resources from different areas to work together towards overall objectives
  • Proactive
  • Problem solving
  • Goal oriented
  • Very good project management skills, is able to plan and prioritise
  • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus
